Over the weekend, former NBA star Vince Carter’s residence in Atlanta was burglarized. In keeping with police data, Carter’s spouse and youngsters hid in a closet whereas the housebreaking was happening.
Carter’s spouse, Sondi, advised the Atlanta Police Division she was laying in mattress along with her twin sons when she heard “loud noises” from the entrance of their home.
“Ms. Carter said that she took her sons and hid of their bed room closet as she heard the unknown suspects acquire entry into her residence,” the police report says, by way of USA TODAY Sports. “Ms. Carter said she might hear the unknown suspects come upstairs and rummage by way of their belongings in several rooms whereas she hid.”
When the police arrived on the scene, an unknown black male sporting all black clothes and a masks was working away from the home. He was then picked up by a black SUV.
Moreover, the police stated $16,000 was scattered on the ground in entrance of Carter’s residence.
Two firearms have been additionally discovered, with one in all them belonging to the previous All-Star swingman.
Fortunately, the Carter household wasn’t harmed throughout this incident.
